London – 28 May 2026 – Franklin Templeton1, a leading global asset manager, today announced the launch of the Franklin US Income Equity Focus UCITS ETF2, an actively managed, high-conviction equity ETF designed to provide income and capital appreciation through a diversified portfolio of US equities and equity-related securities.

The new ETF will list on Deutsche Börse Xetra on 28 May, followed by listings on Borsa Italiana and the London Stock Exchange on 29 May. It is registered for distribution in Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

The Franklin US Income Equity Focus UCITS ETF draws on the heritage and expertise of Franklin Income Investors, investment manager of one of the firm’s most established income strategies, the Franklin Income strategy, launched in 1948. Collectively, the team manages over $105 billion3.

The ETF invests primarily in US large cap equities and equity-related securities, combining the potential to provide high current income alongside capital appreciation. This investment approach is designed to provide diversified exposure across the US market, generate consistent income, and lower volatility, and can serve as a core holding in an investor’s equity sleeve or as a source of supplemental income for retirement needs.

Matthew Harrison, Head of EMEA and Americas ex-US, said: “We continue to see growing interest from investors in active ETFs that combine high-quality active management with the flexibility and transparency of the ETF wrapper. Extending the investment capabilities of Franklin Income Investors into a UCITS ETF format allows us to offer clients another way to access differentiated income solutions as they navigate increasingly complex markets.”

The ETF will be managed by portfolio managers Todd Brighton, CFA, Brendan Circle, CFA, and Edward D. Perks, CFA, Chief Investment Officer of Franklin Income Investors. Together, they bring over seven decades of combined experience managing income-oriented strategies across market cycles.

Edward D. Perks, Chief Investment Officer of Franklin Income Investors and Portfolio Manager, said:

“At Franklin Income Investors, we have long believed that income plays a central role in wealth creation over time. For more than 75 years, our active, research-driven approach has focused on delivering attractive income and growth potential across market cycles. The Franklin US Income Equity Focus UCITS ETF brings that philosophy to European investors through an actively managed strategy that seeks to generate income, participate in US equity market upside and help manage volatility over time.”
