London, 20 October 2025 – Franklin Templeton1 is pleased to announce that the Putnam US Large Cap Value Equity Strategy has been selected by Hargreaves Lansdown2 for inclusion in its HL US Fund. The strategy is managed by Franklin Templeton’s specialist investment manager, Putnam Investments, a diversified active equity manager focused on delivering repeatable risk-adjusted returns for investors.

Established in 1992, the Putnam US Large Cap Value Equity Strategy has over $72 billion3 in assets under management and has outperformed its benchmark in nine of the last ten calendar years4. It was made available to UK and European investors through the Irish-domiciled FTGF Putnam US Large Cap Value Fund5 in March 2025.

Harry Reeves, Head of UK Wholesale at Franklin Templeton commented: “Putnam is a world-class manager, backed by the scale and resources of Franklin Templeton. We are delighted with the strong momentum we have seen for the Putnam US Large Cap Value fund, which has grown to over $289 million6 since its launch just six months ago. In the UK, this success has been driven by growing demand from investors for diversified exposure to the US market. We are pleased to establish this new partnership with Hargreaves Lansdown and look forward to offering their clients access to our proven expertise in US equities. This marks the beginning of what we anticipate will be a long and successful relationship.”

Co-managed by Boston-based Portfolio Managers Darren Jaroch, CFA, and Lauren DeMore, CFA, the Fund pursues consistent, superior risk-adjusted returns through a disciplined approach to idea generation, portfolio construction and risk management. Specifically, the portfolio managers focus on underappreciated stocks that are priced attractively relative to their cash flows and poised for positive change.

Roger Clark, Senior Fund Manager at Hargreaves Lansdown added: “Putnam is a strong addition to our HL US fund and underscores our commitment to partnering with high-quality risk-aware managers that we believe are capable of delivering long-term performance across varying market conditions.”
