Aviraj Chatterjee is a senior research analyst for Franklin Templeton Fixed Income - Mortgage Backed Securities in Hyderabad, India. Mr. Chatterjee is responsible for managing fixed income strategies with a focus on securitized products, specifically leading analysis for Non-Agency Residential Mortgage Backed Securities (RMBS) such as Credit Risk Transfers (CRTs), Re-performers (RPLs), Single Family Rentals (SFRs), and Primes and Legacy RMBS (pre-2007) originated primarily in the U.S.

Mr. Chatterjee has over 14 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to his current role, Mr. Chatterjee was a lead analyst for Standard & Poor's. He also was previously with BlackRock and Futures First. Mr. Chatterjee joined Franklin Templeton in 2015 as a research analyst.

Mr. Chatterjee holds a bachelors of technology in civil engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) at Delhi. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder since 2014.
