Carlos Ortiz is a vice president and research analyst for Franklin Templeton Fixed Income - Global Sovereign and Emerging Markets Debt in London, United Kingdom. Prior to his current role, Mr. Ortiz was an economist and strategist for the CIB division of UniCredit Bank. He also was previously with Moody's Investors and the European Commission. Mr. Ortiz joined Franklin Templeton in 2015 as an international fixed income research analyst.
Mr. Ortiz holds a bachelor of science in economics from the University of Warwick (First Class Honours) and a masters of science in economics from the London School of Economics (LSE).
