Chris Leung

Chris Leung is vice president and executive director for Templeton Global Investments with equity research responsibilities for companies in China and Hong Kong, focusing primarily on consumer companies.

Prior to joining Franklin Templeton, he worked as Director of HK/China Consumer Research at HSBC Equity Research in Hong Kong for more than eight years. Before that he spent six years at Citi Investment Research in Hong Kong, covering small-cap and consumer sectors. Earlier in his career he worked as a corporate finance analyst at i-CABLE Communications Ltd., a listed company in Hong Kong.

Mr. Leung holds a bachelor’s degree from York University in Canada and has completed the Executive MBA Program at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is a native Cantonese speaker and is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
