Ferdinand Cheuk is Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst for Templeton Global Investments. He leads and manages the Templeton Select APAC Equity Income Fund, co-leads the Templeton Asian Growth Fund and several mandates and funds in Asia, including Hong Kong, China, and Japan. Mr. Cheuk previously served as Deputy Director of Research and is a member of the Global Leaders Investment Team and the Global Technology Sector Team, bringing over 30 years of Asia Pacific investment experience, particularly in North Asia equities and the regional technology ecosystem.
Prior to joining Templeton in 2016, Mr. Cheuk was a senior investment analyst with HSBC Global Asset Management in Hong Kong where he also managed regional and country portfolios. He entered the financial industry in 1996 having worked at J.P. Morgan, Merrill Lynch and the Capital Group.
Mr. Cheuk holds a Bachelor of Science (Economics) degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from Kellogg-HKUST. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
