Grace Cheng

Grace Cheng is a vice president and research analyst for Franklin Templeton Fixed Income - Municipals in San Mateo, California, United States. Ms. Cheng is responsible for carrying out research analysis on the higher education sector, domestic and foreign banks, monoline insurance companies, new issues and secondary market offerings, credit for the state of Georgia, and all letters of credit-backed transactions. She also carries out surveillance of higher education credits within Franklin portfolios.

Ms. Cheng has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. She joined the firm in 1990 as a futures associate.

Ms. Cheng holds a bachelor of science in managerial economics from the University of California at Davis, and a MBA from Santa Clara University. She is a member of the California Society of Municipal Analysts, the National Federation of Municipal Analysts, and the San Francisco Municipal Bond Club.
