Holly Johnston, CFA

Holly McHatton Johnston is a Senior Equity Trader in the Global Equity Trading department in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She currently trades the US healthcare and consumer stocks for Global Equity Group.

Mrs. Johnston began at Franklin Templeton as a temporary associate in the Pricing Department in 1999, immediately out of college. Within a year she began as Junior Trader in the Global Trading department. Throughout her years and tenure she has traded multiple markets, security types, and for multiple advisors. She has also been very involved in learning, understanding, and operating the operations of Global Trading specifically related to transaction cost analysis, client commission arrangements, commission sharing agreements, order management systems, execution management systems, order execution data, order audit trail data, and commission management.

Mrs. McHatton Johnston has her MBA from Florida Atlantic University as well as two undergraduate degrees from the University of Florida: B.S. in Business Management and B.S. in Telecommunications. She also became a CFA Charterholder in November, 2021.
