JJ Swartz

JJ Swartz is a portfolio manager and research analyst with Franklin Equity, focusing on equity research and analysis of companies in the industrial technology, multi-industrials, machinery and industrial building products industries. He is also a member of the Franklin U.S. Small Cap Growth strategy team.

Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 2022 Mr. Swartz was a vice president at BlackRock in New York, focusing on corporate strategy and critical change initiatives. Before BlackRock he was a research associate at Cornerstone Research in New York, advising clients and performing economic damages on a variety of complex matters stemming from commercial litigation.

Mr. Swartz earned his B.A. in history, cum laude, from Harvard University, and an M.B.A. with honors from The Wharton School.
