Julia Wang

Julia is a Research Analyst in the Martin Currie Australia (MCA) Investment team. Julia specialises in fundamental research for Australian large cap companies within the consumer and financial sectors.

Julia has a keen focus on providing high quality investment research that allows the broader team execute the best outcomes for client portfolios.

Julia joined MCA in October 2021 after working for fellow Franklin Templeton Specialised Investment Manager firm, Balanced Equity Management, covering Australian equities across sectors including Consumer, Healthcare and Transport. Prior to this, she worked in KPMG's Audit, Assurance and Risk Consulting division, providing assurance and business consulting services to clients ranging from listed entities to SMEs and NFPs.

Julia has a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from the University of Melbourne, and holds a Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accounting from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia. Julia is is a CFA charterholder. In her personal time, Julia's hobbies include travelling, Pilates, hiking and going out to find new good eats around Melbourne.
