Lisette Cooper, PhD

Lisette Cooper, PhD, is vice chair of Fiduciary Trust International and former CEO of Athena Capital Advisors. Dr. Cooper founded Athena Capital Advisors, an award-winning OCIO (outsourced Chief Investment Officer) and wealth management firm, which merged with Fiduciary Trust International in 2020. At Fiduciary, she leads the firms impact investing practice. Dr. Cooper is on the Management Committee of Franklin Templeton as well as its Stewardship and Sustainability and DEI councils.

Dr Cooper was named one of 50 Women Changing the World in 2021 by Worth Magazine. She has served as an expert in resident at the Harvard Innovation Lab and is a board member for many social justice, educational and environmental organizations. Dr. Cooper received her undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University and a PhD from Harvard University. She holds the CFA designation as well as several patents. Dr. Cooper resides in Delray Beach, Florida.
