Luke Anderson

Luke Anderson joined Franklin Templeton in 2011. He is a member of Franklin Real Asset Advisors' Americas private real estate investment team and its Global Investment Committee.

Mr. Anderson's real estate career began in 1984. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton, he was a portfolio manager with GM Asset Management, serving on the investment approval committee, underwriting investment opportunities and managing existing investments. Before that, Mr. Anderson headed the Development Asset Management department at The Mills Corporation, with responsibility for underwriting and monitoring the financial status of development projects. He had various responsibilities while serving with The Yarmouth Group for 11 years, including acquisitions, dispositions and portfolio management. Mr. Anderson was the head of the Chicago office for INVESCO Realty Advisors for a period of 3 years, leading regional acquisition efforts. During his career, Mr. Anderson has worked directly with office, retail, multi-family and industrial properties and has experience in structuring and negotiating equity and debt arrangements associated with real property assets as well as corporate level transactions.

Mr. Anderson received a B.A. in mathematics from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
