Mark A. August

Mark August is ESG analyst for Franklin Equity. As ESG Analyst Mr. August is responsible for oversight of ESG integration within the team, including ensuring compliance within the evolving ESG regulatory landscape, compiling and reviewing internal and external ESG reporting and supporting the broader analyst team with their ESG analysis and ratings frameworks.

Mr. August joined Franklin Templeton in 2003 as a futures associate.

Prior to his current role Mr. August was a vice president and product specialist covering Franklin Templeton's US Growth and Sector strategies.

Mr. August earned a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.
