Reed began his tenure as a senior portfolio analyst at Legg Mason Capital Management, which completed its integration into ClearBridge in 2014. He joined ClearBridge as a senior portfolio analyst supporting several related ClearBridge strategies and became a portfolio manager in 2021.

Reed received an M.B.A. from the Mason School of Business at the College of William & Mary and a B.A. in music composition from the College of William & Mary. He is a CFA® charterholder.
