Ronald Lysek is a senior vice president and Head of Trading for Franklin Mutual Series. He trades European equities/derivatives and manages a group of eight traders who execute equity trades in the US, Europe and Asia. The group also trades foreign currency (FX), cash/treasuries, options, futures, high yield/distressed debt, bank debt, reorganization equity, and merger arbitrage all from their location in Short Hills, New Jersey. Ron is also a member of the Global Best Execution Committee and the Global Trade Oversight Committee.

Mr. Lysek joined Franklin Mutual Series in 1995 as an International Equity Trader and was given the responsibility for the entire trading operation in 2007. Prior to joining Franklin Mutual Series, Mr. Lysek was a trader for Prudential Capital Management International where he traded global equities, options and FX.

Mr. Lysek earned a B.A. in International Relations from American University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Rutgers University.
