Siddharth Chatterjee, CFA

Siddharth Chatterjee is a vice president and portfolio manager with Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions in APAC. Mr. Chatterjee has responsibility for developing and managing global multi-asset portfolios for various institutional and retail clients in the APAC region. He is a portfolio manager for several funds distributed in various jurisdictions in Asia, for instance a co-lead portfolio manager for Franklin Multi-asset Funds registered in Australia and Templeton Select APAC Income fund offered in Hong Kong.

He also leads the research efforts for manager selection for fund-of-fund portfolios in the region. Franklin Templeton's Investment Solutions business builds on the broad range of multi-asset investment capabilities within the firm's fixed income, equity, and alternatives investment groups. Mr. Chatterjee joined Franklin Templeton in August 2016 as a research analyst covering Emerging markets, Asian & Japanese Equity and Fixed Income Funds, and is part of the manager research team which covers both internal and third-party mutual funds and mandates.

Before joining Franklin Templeton, Mr. Chatterjee has spent 3 years with HSBC multi-manager team as a senior analyst, evaluating and selecting Asian and European Equity managers for HSBC wealth management division. He started his investing career in 2011 with CRISIL (a S&P company) focusing on Indian mutual fund industry.

Mr. Chatterjee holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and an MBA from NMIMS, Mumbai, where he focused on finance and capital markets. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder and member of the CFA Society, Singapore.
