Toshio Yoshioka

Toshio Yoshioka, portfolio manager, brings 25 plus years of industry experience in capital markets and investments, focusing on alternative investments, to Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions (FTIS).

In September 2008 he joined K2 Advisors, moved to the K2 Stamford office in 2010, and he has supported clients in various capacities, including serving as a Solutions Portfolio Manager until 2025.

Mr. Yoshioka started his capital markets career in 1987 at Citigroup Tokyo, then he was with Citibank New York in FX Sales for institutional investors from 1992 to 1995. He subsequently was promoted to Head of FX Option Sales for Citibank Global Markets (Tokyo) in 1995. In 2001 he became the Senior Account Manager for institutional clients at Cititrust And Banking Corporation, where he started his career in alternative investments. From 2003 until October 2006 he was a Senior Financial Consultant, and then Head of Sales, Alternative Investments at Citicorp Securities (Japan); from November 2006 through 2008 he was Head of Sales at Citigroup Global Investments Japan.

Mr. Yoshioka holds an M.B.A. from Waseda Graduate School of Finance in accounting and law.
