Vikas Chiranewal, CFA

Vikas Chiranewal is Senior Executive Director at Templeton Global Investments, where he manages the Templeton Asian Smaller Companies Fund, Templeton Emerging Market Smaller Companies Fund, Templeton Emerging Markets Small Cap Fund, and an institutional separate account. As lead portfolio manager for Emerging Markets and Asian Smaller companies' strategies, he oversees investment idea generation, research coordination, client communications, and portfolio decisions for the various funds under these strategies.

Before joining Franklin Templeton in 2006, he was a senior associate in Morgan Stanley's equity research team and previously worked with McKinsey & Co.'s global research group.

Mr. Chiranewal holds a commerce degree from Delhi University, a PGDM from IIM Lucknow, and is a "CFA" charter holder.
